If you don't know much about headphones why do you want to spend 200 quid on some?

Don't buy the dre beats, you can get much better for the money.

Beats by Dre are amazing - You can try them out at most Apple stores.

Also check out Bose headphones. Less bass than Beats by Dre put produce a crisper sound. You can try those out at most apple stores too

Grado, Denon, Audio Technica, Klipsch, and Westone are fantastic brands for those who are serious about sound.

Bose and Monster beats by Dre, are over-priced for what they are but still sound decent.

To determine what headphones you want, you need to tell us what sort of music you're into, and do you like your bass heavy or light?

Here's a link to a downloadable pdf file (posted yesterday for someone asking here about AKG K701/2) :
http://www.avguide.com/buyers-guide/the-playback-guide-full-size-headphones
You might well be happy with any of the suggestions here. However to make a choice tailored to your own requirements you'll need to do some research or be prepared to answer a shed load of questions from someone trying to help you. Just trying whatever is available in your local store may miss loads of options and give a false impression of how they'll work long term in your own home with your gear and music.
Happy hunting.

sennheiser hd 25 II. They are more like dj monitoring headphones. Very bass heavy but don’t distort and crisp treble. Ideal for any bass heavy music, they are very light and parts can be replaced independently so that if one part breaks you can replace it. Should be able to test them at any good music store. ~£140.
