I know these aren't the real deal, but from a parents view they are a better option.

They should last more than couple of months, unlike the ones in shoes that kids can grow out of.
These can be adjusted to fit shoes as child grows, or you can have a go youself if your feeling brave, I would

You can get them from The Skate Asylum, but they're not cheap, £64.00 RRP £85.33.

eBay are cheaper, but be wary.

Not too be too consumeristic here but depending on what your kid really wants it might be a bit awkward to get the strap ons. If she just wants them for the fun and to cruise around a bit then the strap ons are great but I think these are becoming a bit of a status thing with kids so she might be pretty disappointed if she doesn't get the actual Heeley. I'm not a parent though so don't listen to me!

Yeah I had thought of that, she would def go for the real thing.

You're a metaphorical parent, with your HUKD children! hehe.

Wise words though. A lot of the time the kids won't settle for second best, even if second best is better/more practical/cheaper (All appealing to us parents!)

Lets please both parents and children and find a really really cheap pair!

I know excactly what you mean Admin. If my M+D bought me a pair of trainers with 4 not 3 stripes...it was the end of the world.
I went to school in the 80's, and was a bit of a casual. I HAD to have Diadora, Kappa, Lyle and Scott, Pringle etc etc.
I was such a label tart!!
Grown out of it now I can afford it, but dont want it! Kids eh!

Edit: cant spell, but in the mornings I can!

My memory is I wanted a pair of ice skates and my mum didn't know anything about ice skates so found this real bargain (in the blood hehe) but they were a pair of goalie skates. Absolutely gutted :)

Good find cutthroat_jake. When you find the best bargain out there post it in Hot Deals also as I think this is going to be a popular product this Christmas.

:-D thanks so much for all the heelys help to everone that posted on this thread! My computer has refused to work for the last couple of weeks and Ive been unable to access this site, let alone do any more research on them myself so all this info is really helpful:thumbsup:
Think my daughter would probably go for the heelys since she's seen other kids wearing them, and is now getting to be of an age where she's a bit more brand-aware. Her birthday's on Thursday though, so I'll have to get a move on now!!
Thanks again!!:-D

There's some good deals on heelys on the internet at the moment. I've found 1 really good deal at http://www.flywalk.co.uk/ they're doing the Heelys Vapor Navy and White Model at £39.95, never seen heelys so cheap.

ukskate.biz have some for £40 plus £5.50 next day delivery, I dont think they have every size but you might be lucky.

John Lewis seem to have quite a selection if anybody is still looking and you can use the £10 off code posted if you add something to go over £50 (most of them are £49.95) . . .

Or for 'fake Heeleys' at £10 see

Try www.rawk.com - I found some bargains there.
#22
try http://www.smythtoys.com They are selling the original heelys in many different styles for £19.99 per pair(plus postage if you don't live close to a store) but they are in the 3 for 2 mix and match offer so for £39.98 you could have 3 pairs! or not!

sorry this is my first post so its a bit all over the place, hope this helps!:)
#23
Smyths toys in store are saying that you can only have one pair of heelys in the 3 for 2 offer! dont know if thats across the country tho or just in the store near me

I've just bought 2 pairs of heelys bliss from American ebay, worked out at £50, £17 per pair and the the rest shipping as i begrudge paying Uk prices:x

Having said that i bought a pair 6 months ago for my oldest daughter and one of the axles has gone(went after 3 months) so i need a new set of wheels.

£20 -£25 in the UK.

I can get the wheels cheap from America but they charge a lot of shipping.

Does anyone know where I can get cheap wheels? or can anyone tell me if the medium size fats wheels will fit in the shoes that need a small. I've looked it up and i need the small which is 36mm and the medium is 38 mm.
I can get the medium for £10 inc shipping but for small would be about £18.

I've just bought two pairs of Heelys Rebels for my daughters from Rawk.com. Cost me £43 a pair and service was good. Lots of bargains out there at the moment.
