Hi I'm looking at booking a family holiday for next summer for my husband and two children who will be 5 and 8. They would love to go to Disneyland but I have no idea where to start. Can anyone recommend where to stay, tour operators etc. Thanks

I'm presuming you mean Disneyworld in Florida, if not then ignore all I have to say below!!

We've been with Virgin every time, how close to 6 will your youngest be? If not far off then I'd postpone and go when he/she's 6 so you can go the whole hog and swim with the dolphins (6 is the minimum age) and make the holiday a real holiday of a lifetime. We've stayed on International Drive 3 times (very hectic and noisy but lots to do) and last time stayed in Lake Buena Vista which we MUCH preferred and would never go back to International Drive, it's much quieter and dare I say it without sounding snobby, a lot classier.

Enjoy!!

We stayed in kissimmee both times we have been, kind of a compromise between I drive and lake buena Vista, thedibb is a really good site with loads of info.

Just make sure you go to the golden corral

I think the post above meant to say www.thedibb.co.uk Fantastic site for information. We booked through Thomas Cook for this October. £3100 for 4 of us staying in Coronado Springs (Disney Hotel) and this includes the free Disney Dining Plan.
