The cheapest I've found is Canon Original PG50, 22ml for £20 but I'm sure someone out there could do BETTER.
The printer cost me £25, £20 seems way too much for some ink.
Any help will be appreciated!

That's why the printer only cost £25!

You might pick up cartridges for a bit less on ebay but none of the clone manufacturers seem to do cheap cartridges for the newer Canon printers, presumably because Canon want too much for the chip that goes on the cartridge.

Stick to Epson and Brother printers if you want cheap replacement cartridges. Even then, it's a good idea to check the price of replacement cartridges before you buy the printer. :whistling:

Amazon UK - £18.99 delivered , Cartridge King - £18.75 delivered & a generic/refilled one off Amazon Marketplace - £11.68 delivered

You get what you pay for.

If you only print black and white buy a refurbished HP Laserjet printer off eBay (costs £25-55 dependant on features).
My Laserjet 4000 costs me ~ 0.2pence per page printed VS your 5.0pence per page.

Sorry, don't do refills, way too much involvement.

Link to a guide on how to refill a PG-50 cartridge.

You are lucky you don't own a cheap Epson/HP printer, they have security chips that need replacing/erasing every time you refill a cartridge.

Did you check the high street for one of those ink shops that refill your own cartridges for you?
