Hi ,

I want a better deal.

I am with Bulldog 8 meg and use a bulldogline.

I pay for the broad band and the line rental.

Works out at about £35 per month.

I use the broadband very heavily.

I only use the land line of 08 numbers.

I have voda mobile phone.

I have o2 mobile broadband.

I use quidco.

I'm in London.

I want a better deal with as short or no contract as I may be moving in six months.

Please please help.

got to do with it? Better of sticking to what you have as majority will want you to sign a 12 month contract. When you say moving, you mean abroad or same country?

Bulldog are part of Tiscali now aren't they? Might be worth checking the prices of some alternatives and then 'phoning Bulldog/Tiscali to see if they can match or beat the price. If they think you might leave, then they may well offer you a better price. They don't know that you'll be leaving in 6 months!

RE voda mobile and o2 mobile broadband. I understand that O2 and possibly voda may do special deals for existing customers.

12 months would be ok. Ideally I would be looking for a month by month contract I guess.

I will be staying in London but moving home.

I do not want to stick with bulldog.

Thanks

Thanks Mike. I will try that but I have found the customer services awful.

There must be a better alternative to my current set-up.

Has anyone else got a suggestion or in a similar situation?

heavy users betherebroadband

unlimited and 24mb broadband

fast and no limits

if u need a referral pm me your email and you can get a month or something free!
www.bethere.co.uk for more info

standard bt line required

takes one week to get activated - u might be lucky and get it done by friday as its sunday today

edit:
£20 a month
£24 connection fee
3 month contract

not bad though connection fee sucks but covers their equipment i guess

Bulldog, Tiscali and TalkTalk are all owned by the Carphone Warehouse AFAIK.

Define 'very heavy usage'.

Most of the better ISPs that do one month contracts and similar tend to have lower usage limits due to not using traffic shaping and similar so as usually you've got to choose between cheap and good. £35 including line rental is a good price for very heavy usage and I doubt you'll find better unless you can get something like O2's LLU packages (and can deal with the 12 month contract).

Phone bulldog and request a MAC, they will offer you broadband for £9.99 especially if you are paying them line rental.

If you want a better service and cheap

BT Line £11.25 Free evening plus weekend calls to UK landlines and 0845 + 0870
O2 Broadband £8 Per month
