I have a wife and two grown up daughters who have wavy thick hair and over the years have tried all methods and types of straightners and they say it has to be GHD's every time!:santa:

Kodo straightners are fantastic, I've had the same pair for 4 years and I couldnt do without them. I've recommended them to friends and family who all agree. My cousin had ghds that broe so she got kodos and agrees with me. They are also alot cheaper than ghds, have alook on ebay

Me too, i tried every straightener going trying to avoid paying £100 for GHD's but none of them worked and just made my hair frizzy, eventually invested in some GHD's and was amazed, my hair is as straight as a straight person's!!! Would never go back to another straightener now, I think cheaper ones are OK if you just want to straighten out a few kinks but if your hair is proper curly it's GHD's all the way.

Tip - if your hair is quite long aswell I'd get the wider plates.

personally im not keen on ghds. i like my straighteners to have a comb attached which i find works wonders. i bought a pair from a salon and they were only 45 pounds, had them about 6 years now and theyre still going strong

the girlfriend is a hairdresser and she keeps telling me all the time the purple ghds are the straighteners to have this year, their sell like hot cakes in the salon she works soon as they come in there sold, i keep telling her it will be a waste of money as she's got some black ones that shes had for years a still working, she dont know theirs some purple one's under the tree:gift: you get a bag for them and a hairdyer and some clips. they cost between £130-£155

have you tried having your hair chemically staightened? I have mine done about every 8 - 10 months, its so much easier :)

I pay £45 at my local hairdressers, not a top notch one, they charge the earth.....my hair is thick, course with a natural wave and I hate it! Takes around 3-4 hours but well worth it, to be honest I would pay up to £60 for it :)
