If you can stretch another £20, **** have a sapphire 5850 extreme for £99

Astonishing price for performance

These cards sound great but how will I know if they are compatable with my computer do I just swap them over?

Yes you need two 6pin pci-e power connectors or 4 molex connectors or a mix of the two.

What are they then? Lol and how do they work sorry for asking so many questions

Your 8800gts should need a 6 pin pci power cable, I just upgraded from an 8800gts 640mb to a HD 5830. The card should come with 2x 6 pin pci express cables and you'll need 4 molex connectors to power them (2 each).

In regards to how they work basically they are just needed to provide extra power to the graphics card as only so much can be drawn from the motherboard (via the PCI-Express slot)
