Am thinking about buying the Samsung LE40A556P from Dixons at £699.99 with the stand and the surround sound kit for an extra £99.Is this a good deal? All i can find is a £20 off voucher, taking it down to £779 ish for the lot.Anyone come up with better?
Also what cables etc do i need to be able to conect it all up,am running sky + dvd player and the surround speakers.
This Tv has built in freeview this does'nt effect running Sky + does it?
Thanks in advance all i know nothing!!!!

dont forget quidco!!
have a look here too first :)
i got this tv a few weeks back, when there was a better voucher. cant remember the exact price i paid, plus it dropped more after i ordered it but before it was shipped so they refunded me some money too, more than they should of so i got it for a decent price. no idea about the stand or surround kit. £99 doesn't sound too bad but i'm sure it's not the best in the world. it's a good tv.
thanks for info, what cables do i need to buy and can i use sky + instead of the built in freeview?
it comes with the power cable and that's it i think. i have mine hooked up to sky+ with a scart from the box to the tv, no hassle at all. depending on what other equipment you have you may need to buy cable but i'd doubt it.

edit, just checked, no other cables.
