HELP! iPhone 3g coming to end of contract - any good deals?

Been on O2 £45 contract (1200 mins, unlimited text/wifi/browsing), well it's coming to an end.

Happy enough not to upgrade my 3G to another iphone (unless it is the 4G but that's not out yet). I can live with min 300 mins talk time, unlimited text/wifi/browsing.

Carphone Warehouse is offering me £40 pm (600 mins, unlmited text, wifi, browsing) for 18 mth contract, with £200 cashback. That works out to about £30 (excl VAT) per month.

I just saw the O2 simplicity for iphone at £20 per month. Does anyone have experience in this simplicity plan?

Thanks in advance.

my iphone contract run out in february and i rang them up one month before my contract was due to end and i wanted to cancel to go onto payg, but the guy on the phone offered me the iphone simplicity deal, think its 600 minutes and 1200 txts and the unlimited internet, 30day rolling contract so when the 4G comes out ill be able to cancel my simplicty and get that unless i buy it on payg lol :)

Completely agree! I have the £20 simplicity deal too and it's caused no problems so far... been on it since the new year.
