Hi all

I am looking for some flights to Edmonton, and was hoping you guys could recommend sites that you have used. Looking for the cheapest and direct flights from London.

Any and all recommendations welcome. Thanks

Has anyone been to Canada recently? Which airlines did you use, and who did you book it with?

i was watching martin lewis the other day on gmtv and he was talking about last minute.com having a section called secret flights and he said you can bag bargain flights on there

i use canadian affair as they are by far the cheapest. i paid £300 return last year that was with preselected window seats. am going again in march and the tickets seem to be cheaper wednesday and thursday. they fly with thomas cook and monarch. hope this helps. also premium upgrades are £99.

Thanks vbunes - rep added

I found anther site www.terminala.com - they have the same flights that Canadian affair are offering (same flight number and dates), but are £200 cheaper.

I am going to pay by credit card, and want to know if I am covered/protected by the credit card company if "Canadian Affairs" or "Terminal A" or the airline company go bust.

OK - I asked AirTransat to price match TerminalA prices, and they did, so saved about £100 per person, so I am pleased. In case anyone was wondering, I went direct to the airline company, as I felt it would be better to deal with them, rather than a middle-man company. Less people to go bankrupt = less risk (I hope)

Fellow Travellers,
Was looking for flights from London to Toronto.
Tried www.terminala.com and www.cheapflights.co.uk but they were close to £600 so I Googled "cheap flights to canada" and found Canadian Affair. Did a quick read-up and they're based in London. Anyway, tickets booked for £412 including taxes and seat booking. www.canadianaffair.com. I'll let you all know how the flight went! :-D

I flew to Toronto with Canadian Affair/Air Transat and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Transat seem to use Candian Affair to handle all the money anway, so it all seems much of a muchness
