I currently have a newborn little girl who really doesn't actually need anything for xmas, but because i also have a 2 year old boy who is starting to understand more i feel he won't understand if she doesn't get much for christmas, so i'm looking for cheap presents to bulk out her christmas sack, she will only be 11 weeks old at christmas so struggling for ideas.

clothes and maybe a baby walker or such like she need later. As things like that are big open. Then explain to son that you will put it away until his siter is bigger. He will probably enmjoy talking baout it in months to come. When you pull it out and tell him "Do you remeber that Santa bought this for your sis for xmas? "

I've been having the same problem, I posted similar the other day, and people suggested a few special presents ie steiff teddy bear etc, I also have a bnib vtech grow and go ride on, walk type thing that my mil bought my little one from argos for 31.99, but she already has 2 walkers and a giraffe ride on bought for her, so this is surplus, courier would be £8.00, so looking for £20 delivered, can put up photos when oh gets back from work later if interested

clothes-even something like a plastic Tommee Tippee cup & plastic bowl for when you start to wean her - if your little one is only 2 he probably wouldn't notice if you wrapped any bits of toys you had put away from when he was small for the first age.

Flannel/sponges - i am trying to think what i did - i think i got things like toothbrushes too - don't forget a pressie from the baby to your 2 year old too !

Spot on, try and make it the pressies you know he really want

My son was born Jan 1st. So all the people we feel we can we ask to give money for his birthday last year and will do the same this year. I just kept 2/3 pressies back from xmas from us. Ev1 either gave money or something small and money. With it only being a week later it was so overwhelning as i knew it would be.

We will put £100 in his bank this year again and again keep back a few things at xmas. I saw for money so i can buy in 6 months when he need more advanced toys but tbh ive never touched his savings. I just buy from my own pocket when i see something he'd like/need

How about a piece of jewelry, I've done that for my 2 year old. No good now but I plan to buy some charms for the bracelet every year. Or a really nice jewelry box.
I have bought my 13 week old a jumperoo and a plan to get a walker. I sold a lot of my stuff after DD so have had to buy a few of the bigger things again. I always try and get stuff that they will need before their birthday

i agree with everyone else-buy things the baby will need in a few months as because her birthday is so near christmas youll have to wait another year to buy more presents, by which point she will have missed key age range toys my son is one on jan 5 and im buying stuff to suit him when hes 18 months or else he wont get anything new until hes 2!
i know the feeling though as my 3 year old has masses of toys and the baby this tiny pile!!!
