Im in desperate need of some help...

Im looking at buying a laptop to use for the following graphics and design stuff:

Photoshop CS3
Video editting
Using Serato music dj package

I dont want to spend a grand on getting a mac so does anyone have any suggestions?

I dont want to use it for gamming so not bothered about that spec.

This is what i think i need (roughfly):
15" high res gloss screen
2gig ram
160 gig hard drive
Built in Web cam
fast processor 2.2 ghz ?
Not too heavy
Good battery life

Does anyone have an suggestions or ideas of what i should be looking for..
My budget is up to the £600 mark, not sure if this is really unrealistic or not.

Many thanks

Chris

I just ordered a Dell vostro from their outlet site,

Intel CORE 2 DUO T7500 2.20GHz, 800, 4M -
- Fixed Internal 8X DVD+/-RW Drive
- Hard Drive 160GB Serial ATA (5400RPM)
- 2048 MB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM (2x 1024 MB) -
- Internal 56K Modem Notebook
-15.4 WXGA+ True Life
- 128MB Video Graphic Card G86 -
- Vista Home Premium

£625 ---- it's arriving on tuesday - let you know how it goes! I needed the laptop for similar use to you...Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere...

wanted a mac, but it was just too expensive, plus they're probably releasing an updated version of the mac book pro later in the year.

After doing research about the vostro, it seems it's cons are that it's not the prettiest laptop around, and quite heavy apparently too..

But check the Dell Outlet, you might find a bargain http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/default.aspx?s=dfo&l=en&c=uk
