Hi guys im looking to buy a new super kingsize bed. Looking to get a medium-firm bed but don't know what brand is good and whats bad.

Got around £4-500 to spend. Seen a silent night in tesco for £400 but heard by some people these are not that great.

Any help pleaseee?

I tried that but none of the names match up, the stores say they're 'exclusive', which I'm sure they're not, but to stop people doing that

My Mum and Dad have always had Silent Night and they have lasted years. I've currently had mine for a year and it's the same as when I bought it, comfortable. :p

No one can in away tell you what bed to buy as it might be great for some but not for you.

i agree get a cheap from off ebay, then spend your money on a good mattress.

I opted for a silent knight mattress, which I bought off ebay. I think it cost about £300 brand new, and arrived in the biggest cardboard box ive ever seen in my life. Its got 2000 pocket springs. Nothing lasts these days like it used to, just try and get the best buy you can.

Whatever you do though, dont believe the 50% off sale stuff that will be floating around soon. If the price says £400, ask yourself is it worth £400 dont say to yourself ooohh it WAS £800 because I bet it wasnt. I fell for that one with argos, £500 for a kingsize divan that WAS £999, i certainly fell for it, straight on the floor when it collapsed lol

It didn't collapse after you put it together by any chance X)

No it was ready made and wasnt worth the £500 they charged. When you looked inside, when you pulled the drawers out, it was a wood knot that snapped. The wood it was made from however looked the quality of old pallets. I wont do it again thats for sure. In the end I made my own bed out of 4x2 and 22mm ply, you could stand 10 people on top and it wouldnt budge.
