You'll need DVD+R or DVD-R blank media...I tend to buy the + version but your burner will take both types...how many discs do you require and do you want them in jewel cases??..in fact it doesn't really matter about jewel cases as you can buy packs of 10 in Tesco for £1.50p

I take it you want to fit a firewire card to a PCI slot in your PC?...I'd recommend this one as it also has extra USB 2 slots which always come in handy

they are the speed they can burn at...you probably have a 16x DVD writer so get 16 x speed.
