Hoping someone can help me. I'm not very technical. I'm wanting to put a small tv at the end of each bunk bed, so the kids can watch dvds & showbox whilst in bed. I'm wanting to hook them up, so they can watch the same thing at the same time. What you see on one tv screen, you'll see on the other. There's no aerial point, so it'll just be a dvd (tv/dvd combi) to watch or something through the dongle (showbox, you tube, netflix etc). And it can just be controlled from the one tv. Is this possible and if so, what cables etc do I need & how?
Many thanks in advance.

What you need is an hdmi splitter.

This youtube vid explains it all:

As mentioned above, you'll need a HDMI splitter. The Neet ones are pretty decent but will be top end material and work should you want to do it with consoles / sky / virgin in the future;

failing that, a cheap hdmi splitter from amazon should do the trick as long as the distance isnt too great between the 2 screens.

Would a dual screen portable dvd player not work?

They already both love reading. They have shelves full of books which they've always got their noses in! Every child likes to watch their favourite films though!!!!

Unfortunately, the room is so small that there is nowhere to put a screen that they will both be able to see if having a snuggle in bed!
And they both read lots as it is.
