I have bought a 1tb HDD ( mechanical) to use as a games harddrive but its got faster seek times than the current one so i decided to clone my current MBR disk to the new disk that i set up as GPT.
Ive used GPT as i understand GPT is faster than MBR and better suited to UEFI motherboards and 64 bit Os (win 8.1) the other benefits i wont benefit from as its only a 1tb disk.
I tried using EaseUs Todo backup free but it didnt work although it looked like a copy.(apart from system reserved being labelled correctly but appeared empty and the primary partition missing boot file , page file?

Has anybody managed to clone a MBR hdd to a bigger GPT hdd successfully and crucially .. simply ? if so use idiot instructions please.

Little confused as I'm tired but leave it as MBR buddy, you will not see any performance difference.

Ill try to clone MBR to MBR (First attempts at cloning)
