You can get broadband from Mobile shops where you use a USB dongle to receive and send the data via the Mobile networks.
#3
if you fall within the virgin cable area, you can get it.
#4

virgin media use to do it, yoyu can get mobile broadband for around a tenner a month + cashback

Have you tried Virgin Media or Telewest? they dont seem to need a BT line!
#6
either through mobile broadband or cable

the best would be O2, ADSL but you have to have BT line already

Tmobile USB dongle which you can carry anywhere & connect to any pc which has a USB Port.

virgin or maybe another cable co in you area, try the samknows website, it will tell you who supplies BB in your area. The only other option is via mobile, steal/beg/borrow a neighbours, or search for BB via satellite.

id for the dongle atleast you can take it anywhere

Virgin require a cable as well so if a BT phone line is out then I guess that is too..

Other than that it depends on where you live. The most widespread option is mobile broadband which if you live in a town or city is likely to be availible to you, however, the usage limits on it tend to be on the low side so not ideal if you want to use lots of multimedia content.

Apart from that you'd have to check around for local schemes that provide broadband in other ways like wirelessly or through the electicity cables.
