Are you able to buy some halal meat, i.e. keema? Are you hoping to make a specific type of food, i,e, Indian, Italian, Chinese? How many people are you cooking for? A little more detail would be helpful.

halaal sticky ribs with honey glaze or even better roast lamb chops - served with naan and Asian salad better than a curry

do you have access to a halal butcher?

you can also buy ready frozen samosas / spring rolls from Asian grocers.
onion bhajjis are easy to make

main dishes, could be:
lamb/chicken/veg biryani
lamb/chicken/veg curry plus rice/chapatti or naan

please ask if you need more advice.

Worst come Worst

1. Get some really Decent Bread
2. Cut onions and mince half a garlic
3. Toast bread
4. Put diced onions and minced garlic in a pan and let them sweat
5. Butter Toast and add the garlic and onions and margarine
Oh BTW you need 3 slices of toast

In the meantime
1. Make 3 Fish Cakes
2. 2 Fish Fingers
3. Cut some cuecuber, tomatoe and lettuce
4. Warm up some Baked Beans

Putting it all together
1. Lay one toast down.
2. Put some ketchup as a base ...
3. Cheese goes next
4. Squash one and half of the fish cakes you made onto the bread
5. cut fish finger into small peices
6. Drizzle a little bit of bake beans and ketchup to taste
7. add more cheese and some cuecumers, lettuce and tomatoe
8. Add second bread
9. Repeat steps 1-7 and then add the final bread
Note: One one layer .. if you have some home made kebabs then add them ... makes it awesome!
10. Cut in half the Three layered monster
11. Put into a plate and drizzle around some ketchup on the plate and eat with some crisps

Viola. lol :)

Total Cooking time: 15-20 minutes
