Hi, I am looking to replace the hose on my Henry vacum cleaner, the old one has snapped at the nose, a replacement from ebay has done the same, this was not an original part. I think i may be better off purchasing an original hose, if anyone can help please on the best place to buy this. Thanks

Snapped at the nose !

Is it the screw fitting that's snapped or the actual hose ?

I use the Henry hoover myself , but someone has given me a Hetty [the pink one ] Dead as a doornail , or it was till I took the thing apart and found one of the carbon bushes on the motor had worn totally flat .Two brand new bushes in there bakerlight holders for £6.99 from ebay , It's now as good as new . But , the hose was split near the connection , it's plastic and can be cut with a stanly knife and put back together . Sometimes on these hoses there is a steel band running around the flexi hose , there isn't on Hettys , it's all plastic and can easily be cut .

a new hose is only about £8.00 odd from espares , which actually isn't really expensive .

send them a nice email saying how disappointed you are that the hose split so soon after buying it and they'll probably send you a new one for free
