I started with aptamil but as the price was quite high i switched to cow and gate. The price for that is £7.49. Co-op sometimes sell it for £6.49. Asda sometimes sell for £5 during baby event. I stock up when its that price.

Are you using stage 1 or the 6 months plus. On stage one you will never find a offer on the milk. Normally you can find offers on the 6 months plus milks. Boots do offer sometimes. Mostly on cow and gate. Aptamil I never saw on offer when my kids used it.

you could also try more food than milk…i put my daughter on cows milk by 1yr old and shes not keen on milk by 18month but loves all foods! i believe they don't 'rely' on milk as much once weaning.

As previous poster said-you could try more food, less milk-personally I used less formula than stated and topped up with bottled water or rice milk-this should also encourage your little one to eat more (however, I didn't start doing this until after 12months). If you are on Income Support or Child Tax Credits, you should qualify for Healthy Start vouchers, which give £3.10 a week towards milk and fresh fruit/ vegetables. This amount is doubled in the first year I believe. Costco do cheap baby milk-if you can find a friend who has membership.

milk is same price everywhere. they are not allowed to promote formula

Tesco brand and KoKo brand coconut milk can be used from 6 months. it is dairy free and doesn't taste too coconutty. My son will drink this instead of formula along side breast feeding.

This ^^^ . It's only the follow on milks that get put on offers and they are a waste of money as they can have cows milk by then ;) How many bottles a day are they getting ? seems like a lot of milk to go through once they are on a full solid routine , where they get calcium from other foods also.
