Any help would be much appreciated.

A linx 10 windows tablet is just under budget from the likes of dabs if lots of apps isn't an issue

I have an HP Omni 10 for £185. Excellent condition.

Full HD, Windows 8.1. 32GB plus MicroSD Slot.
Starts up in 11 secs from cold.

lenovo yoga 2 10.1 - £199 but can claim back the vat as an offer. I got one yesterday and can say that next to my housemates iPad 4 (retina) there isn't much between the two!

just go to john lewis and search for yoga 2 10

or click here :

just for your information, i bought one of these from john lewis (arrived ysterday) and although the screen is full hd and generally quite good looking, for some reason it looks a bit grainy...but it's light and has a good battery life (18 hours)
