She's 9 years old and turned into a real bookworm - very expensive to try and get them all. Famous Five etc......

I have a big box full of old Enid Blyton books in my loft, would you be willing to pay postage costs?

Look in charity shops?

Abe Books have many for less than £2 delivered mostly in very good used condition.

Why not take her to the charity shop or maybe a car boot sale and she can maybe have the experience of buying the books herself, which may mean a lot to her.

Thanks everyone, I particularly want the famous five, secret seven, adventure series etc (as opposed to noddy, Brer Rabbit etc) - I had all of them when I was younger, hindsight is a wonderful thing isn't it......
She loves authors such as David Walliams & Jaqueline Wilson but she's just got into Enid Blyton. I would be very happy to pay postage Itlangel - I am in the Birmingham area. First time I've ever posted on a forum such as this and I've loved all the replies, thank you.

If you go into other sellers Amazon is on there and the Secret Seven set is £25 for 15 books http://www.amazon.co.uk/Enid-Blyton-Disappearing-Pantomime-Invisible/dp/B005NZGXL2/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1378755893&sr=8-5&keywords=enid+blyton

The book people tend to be good for newer sets out . Have you got a local library she could sign up to ?

didn't realise that there were still so expensive to buy! I loved them as a girl. I have around 20-30 I'd be happy to let you have them for 50pence each plus postage. let me know if you would like a list of what I have and I will put one together for you.

Yes please can you send me a list, my email is xxxxxxxxxxxxx. As long as postage isn't huge I would be very happy to buy them - she's very excited.
I will also take a look in charity shops x

I'll put a list together for you this evening and post it on here for you. I'm happy to package them up and have them weighed, it's up to you whether you would like them sent via royal mail or if you prefer to shop around and see if you can find a cheaper courier that would be fine with Me.

Saw a lot of Famous Five books in Asda tonight. They had a new modern cover on them. Not sure what price they were though sorry. Perhaps you could look on website?

Also ltlangel - myhermes is a very reasonable courier. It's about £5.40 for up to 5kg and only a couple of pounds more for 10kg.

My little one has read all the Enid Blyton books and loves them. The Magic Faraway Tree is a brilliant collection. They appear to be for younger children but they are so magical my daughter still loved them age 11

Use this website for best prices http://www.find-book.co.uk/

It's lovely that your daughter is enjoying books. It might be worth looking at your local library and borrowing them from there is she's a quick reader.
