High quality digital photo frame with battery

I'm after a digital photo frame for a gift, but one thing it must have is a battery (in built one that charges off the mains would be ideal). I'm also prepared to spend up to £100 for a 7" model with good picture quality.

Sony frames always seem to get good reviews for quality, but none seem to have the battery option. What other highly reviewed frames have this feature?

I'm in the same market and have narrowed it down to 3 choices. You might want to consider-

Phillips 7FF2CWO with wooden frame, approx £60 if you can collect from a Richer Sounds store or £67 delivered via web order, but still an excellent price compared to Amazon etc. You'll have to hurry for this as having phoned my nearest branch I gather they are not replacing stock since its a clearance line for them. As remote, music etc isn't a priority this is the one i'm going for and the shop is relatively local, which is a bonus.

Milan 7" Digital Photo frame from www.lowpricememory.co.uk or www.mydigitalphotoframes.com which is priced around £80 with the optional digital battery pack. The former looks to be cheapest on price at moment.

Varnim VM830BT which is touch sensitive, built in battery and plays music/video too and comes with a remote control. Price was £104.95 but you'll have to Google this because i'd forgotten to make a note of supplier.

Hope that helps you.

Thanks Parkton,

REP added for the Richer Sounds find. Reserved and picked on up yesterday in Edinburgh.

Cheers
Simon
