Where did you buy it?

When did you buy it?

What do the terms & conditions from said place of purchase say about this matter?

Etc

which system do you think you need? I've still got the active heating version from before the hive branding and it works fine for what I want it to do.

Amazon, 3 weeks ago. Plumber had it out of the box trying to fit it but it's for a system with a tank which I don't have.

Serves me right for not checking!

That's the problem when people try to buy something for somebody else to install to save a bit of cash... Happens all to often in my line of work.

He probably got his **** confused with his elbow, get a plumber who knows something more 'advanced' than a combi. You might even find your combi can be timed to pre-heat the hot water!
