I am off end of Jan to sunny Tenerife....

Canaries is always my preference for winter sun, other option is Sharm el Sheikh but I do not fancy it one bit myself.

Depends if you want 'warm' or 'hot'! If you want to be in the pool, you'll need a heated one in the Canaries. We've been to both Lanzarote and Fuerteventura in Feb and neither were hot enough for the kids to go into unheated pools. But if you just want warm and sunny and aren't bothered about it being hot enough to swim, then Canaries, Morocco or Tunisia would be lovely. Playa Blanca in Lanzarote is my personal favourite - beautiful place, immaculately clean, lovely marina area with shops, restaurants etc.

We did Morocco in December 1 year ago and it was warm. Not hot hot, but warm enough for shorts and t-shirt with a few days were you needed sun lotion.
Not sure how much Tunisia has changed in the last few years, but in comparison to Morocco it was a ****hole.

Yeah, I think I'd agree with that - wasn't a massive fan of Tunisia myself! Not been to Morocco before, but we're going to Agadir at the end of October - just desperately hoping it will still be hot enough then for the kids to swim, as that's pretty much the only point of any holiday we ever get to go on these days! Warm in Dec sounds promising :)
