Hello All

We are midlands based and would like to book a holiday to one of these in May just for the two of us and on a bit of a budget but would love to go All inclusive or at least HB, any deals from all your experiences would be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

Olympic holidays are a great company good prices and great service. You deal with the same person with your booking and they do phone you back when they say and do sort problems out if you have any.

We went to Roda Beach Hotel on Corfu fully inclusive last June for £350 each in a superior room but we waited till 3 weeks before booking and booked through www.otbeach.com

Here's the Hotel http://www.mitsishotels.com/Hotels/roda-beach-resort-and-spa/welcome_227.htm

It was 5 star but Greek 5 star and I did my research before hand and booked a superior room. We had a great time and it was brill value for money - it doesn't get a great write up on Trip Advisor but these people are expecting a Radisson SAS.

My advice would be to wait till a couple of months before you want to go then make sure you do your research when you actually find something.

I've been to Corfu and Rhodes - but preferred Corfu as it's less commericalised in the North of the Island.

Good luck

We've booked with MyTravel quite a lot lately - booked with them to go to Crete at the Serita Beach in 2004 (review here - TJ ;-)) and Cyprus at the Marlita beach in 2006 - I wouldn't recommend that at all, it was brash and we had to move 4 times because the apartments were badly maintained.

I'd thoroughly recommend all-inclusive (we always used to go s/c but now we're hooked! :-D) but probably best to aim for at least 4 star because I'd hate to be stuck with the food in a 3 star if it was gross!

If you are willing to wait until nearer the time to book you will pick up something at a decent price. May is low season and the start of the summer holiday season and not the busiest month so there are always lots of good deals online and through high street agents available. I work in the travel industry and if was looking to go to Greece or Cyprus at that time of year I would wait and book a lot nearer the time

Ok if you can fly from east midlands they also go cheaper as hard to get to oppossed to birmingham international, however birmingham have more flights.

CYPRUS IS MORE EXPENSIVE TO GO TO RATHER THAN GREECE ALWAYS IS.

TRY THESE OPERATORS
THOMSON AUCTIONS
OLYMPIC HOLIDAYS
DIRECT HOLIDAYS
SKY.COM HAVE GOOD HOLS OR WATCH TV FOR DEALS

the only thing with waiting nearer the time is only so many flights they get booked up we found this before as not main season.
PLEASE if you go to greece do not go to kathalos or lardos these are so quiet nothing to see or do and i mean nothing, i wasted my money.

lindos is gorgeous lovely beach harbour lovely cafes resturants at day and night and gorgeous donkeys.
rhodes is lovely too but not kathalos stay in pefkos then you can get local bus to lindos very cheap there.

ps book your hol on line always cheaper than travel agent
have a great holiday
