We would like to go to France during school hols 2010 just to try a different holiday. Can anyone recommend any great parks , we have 2 kids 6 and 4 so neeed to keep them entertained. Live in Kent so ferry crossings etc no problem at all. have sent away for Keycamp and Eurocamp and centerparcs europe. Can anyone make any recommendations. I am happy to book park and ferry or Eurotunnel seperately . Any advice would be welcome as have never been to France on hols.

We always went with Haven Europe, now called Siblu, we went with them for 18 years!!

They have sites all over France, also some in Spain and Italy.

The sites if you got to a Siblu owned one are great for the kids, with activities taking place most days and nights. Our kids have friends they are still incontact with they met over there 15+ years ago.
All the caravans are very clean and the staff have always been great with us. when the gas runs out they are usually there quick to change the bottle for you and anything thats not there or is broken is replace quickly.

Theres usually a bar, pool, beach, restaurant and although sometimes situated off the beaten track, they are not too far from the supermarkets.

There's kids groups for all ages, our kids would still go now if they had the chance and they are all in their 20's! LOL

Also if you book for certain times you can some extra days FREE, always good!

Feel free to message me if you want anymore info.

Hope it helps. JC

EDIT, Also if your travelling a way down France or further stop in Formula1 for the evening, pay per room and you can get breakfast per person, basic room - bed TV sink, shared loos and showers but great value for money. A couple of good ones in Bethune, which is a good point to stop your journey, also doing the tunnel is quicker than the ferry.

St Jean de Mont, Vendee (hope the spelling is right) was a good park far enough down France to be hot but not too far to drive. Steer clear of North France weather as bad as ours, full of Brits might as well go on holiday here!!

St jean de monts is great we've been for the last 5 years, great weather and lots to do, we've just booked again for this year. Were going to a site called les genets it's great for kids booked with a company called directcamping.com, good and clean cheaper than all the others such as eurocamp.ect.xxx
