Can you get away on 24th or earlier? Most places won't like arrivals on 25th for obvious reasons.

How many kids (I assume they are yours rather than you want to go out with some?), what ages and what's your budget. 5 hours from London will get you down here to Cornwall - it will be cold and miserable but it will be Christmas!

5 hours from London? That should get you as far as the M25.

Except during the rush hour (00:01-23:59).

Details

Boys, Girls, mix.

Ages??

Park yourself up somewhere around the eastern edge of Somerset, or the western edge of Wiltshire and you have lots of attractions to visit.

Longleat
Bovington (Tank Museum and Monkey World)
Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton.
Haynes Car Museum.

It won't be cheap but you can get to Disneyland Paris in under 5 hours. If you are driving then stay off site. Get one annual pass for cheap tickets for the rest of the family / free parking / store and restaurant discounts.

thank you members, 2 kids are under age of 3 a (girl -1& a boy -3), passports not ready to travel out of country, around £800 with breakfast would be bonus but not necessarily,

really looking for some family time, not much children activities needed,
