I will of course need to be able to do the basic bench pressing and deadlifting. I would also need dumbells.

Also I don't have tons of room, just my room and my balcony, so nothing too big.

Thanks!

I do, however, I am looking for the more mainstream stuff. Also since the budget is low the kettle bells will probably have to be an extra thing I'll get if I have enough money left over, else I've gotta prioritize the dumbells and benches as well as stuff like ez bars.

Everything but patience is a virtue. I have got about £600 worth for £200 but its taken a while looking. All expensive chrome plates, a bench, rack, bars and over 100kgs in plates plus other odds n sods.

Ebay/Gumtree - a lot of stuff is sold second hand in very good condition as fitness is a fad for many so bought with good intentions but sold with a layer of dust a couple of years later.

as suggested-look on Gumtree or ebay for folks selling gym gear off cheap.?

Damn, do you mind if I PM you later for any help on finding stuff?

You guys are right, I'll also have a look on Gumtree and eBay. Do you guys think I can get a bench and dumbbells alongside a bar for deadlifts for £100 though?

I would think so - should be around that. May also need to be patient, may take a few weeks and to buy the items from different sellers. Also depends upon how far you are prepared to travel to pick things up.

Ah gotta see, don't wanna wait too long to get it since I have two months off from uni.

Also that deal seems amazing, ah man!!! I don't have any form of transport or anyone that can take me Manchester to pick that up :(

I'm from the East London region so can't make that
