Changed the missus passat brake pads , used Euro car parts, think I went for bosch ones, worked great, cheap too

From my personal experience in the past of getting cheap brake pads for a motorbike, don't!
I bought some that basically disintegrated on first use. I've also gone for mid market ones but ended up changing them more often.
Your pad is a critical component, so treat it like one. From the list you've mentioned, brembro all the way.
Buy from a legitimate supplier, there are plenty of counterfeit ones flying around on eBay.

Thanks everyone but still not sure which are as good as originals, or better?

Like I said, try ebc greenstuff, I've used them to good effect in a 1.5ton 650bhp 8litre V8 and they always stopped me from cold to almost glowing red brake discs!

Ferodo are good.
