Evening everyone!

I shall be moving in with the girlfriend at the end of the week, and we need a hoover for the new place.

As she has a cat that is like a large furball, we need a hoover that is good for picking up the cat hairs, but that won't break the bank.

I've never bought a hoover before, so I've got no idea on prices (just looked on Argos and nearly fainted at £200+ for a hoover!), but if anyone has any suggestions on a hoover within a sensible budget, say around £50, then I'd appreciate it.

Would that fit onto any hoover an roughly how much? Just fancied finding out on here if anyone had bought a vacuum recently that works on the pet hair.

This might be of some use. I got the pet hair hoover from the site for £50 when it was on offer and it's amazing! Shame it's back up to £150 now though.

I've got the Bissell Pet Hair hoover. Its a bit of a monster but my goodness does it shift the dirt from the carpets. Excellent value at £50 too, might be worth waiting to see if it comes on offer again.

Dysons are out of my price range sadly.

Found this on Argos:

Anyone have any experience with this, or a similar model?
