just booked myself cos we are going to see Michael Mcintyre and I found Cecil House Hotel about a hundred metres away for £85 inc breakfast for a dbl room, there was one left last night...

Travelodge has rooms on the seafront and 1 mile away.

Both £74 for the night.

I saw them but for the little extra you get a proper hotel with staff and full english breakfast for two! :-D

Just checked and that other room has gone, if it was you well done if it wasnt unlucky!

I've only stayed at the A23 one and it's fantastic.

Overlooks a massive park!

The breakfast for 2 is under £15 when booked online and it's a buffet. Have as much as you like!

The rooms are massive and clean.

We always book a family room for the same price.

Julie has just told me that there was a B&B nearby for £85 inc Breakie .... Blue Lagoon Bar And B&B

Travelodge is okay but the last one we went to had a breakfast in a bag! It contained bits of packaged food and drink and really not what I could call a breakfast, we ended up leaving it and going to the Wetherspoons up the road.....

You really have a problem don't you?

Which Travelodge was that then?

Was it one that did not do breakfast buffet by any chance?

WTF? It s my opinion of my experiences, just passing it on. I stay in Travelodges quite often and I am booked in the same one I mentioned as well but now I know not to pay £4.50 for a bag of crap. Of course it did not do a breakfast buffet otherwise I would not have mentioned it and I was advising the guy that it needs checking.
As you can see from my posts on this I actively tried helping the guy.
