Stayed in arlington in april wasnt too bad
I have heard this is the cheapest place to book hotels in Dublin. Its been a long while since I stayed there, so can't really recommend any city centre hotels.

The site was passed on by a friend, so not 100% sure of his claims :)

Cheers, Des.
depends what type of area you want, plenty of boutique and other hotels in temple bar which is the trendy city area with lovely restaurants and nightclubs. otherwise could go out a little like ballsbridge just outside city. there are a lot of little townhouse hotels which can be lovely, if boutique in style which may spring up as a deal. doyle/dury hotels gd good and can book direct but i use myself even for ireland, and i am local. i do however check the hotel sites ring hotel and swing an equivalent deal or upgrade. worth a try. usually pretty good deals. if you want to ask me about any of the areas you thinking of i will check them out for you for location if that helps. have a nice stay.
thanks - I have been looking for a hotel in Dublin too

hunt out a good deal for euros, you will really need it. dublin is not cheap. the southern residents are coming up to us in Northern Ireland for all their shopping. Saves on excess baggage perhaps so there is always a positive.

any other questions feel free to ask.

it is not a city for the faint hearted driver incidentally.
