Can anyone recommend good hotels in the centre of Dublin? Never been before and looking to go at the beginning of April. Thanks in advance for any tips.

stay at the arlington hotel on the river liffey. Book it through hotelclub.net. It's a few minuted stroll from temple bar area - hope this helps. Paul.

I stayed in the Waltons hotel, which was just at the top of O'Connell Street. Great Irish breakfasts, although this was 10years ago now! It was in a brilliant location and very good price.

Thanks for the tips, I'll check them out tomorrow.
Anymore suggestions.
Will give some rep tomorrow, but off to bed now.

I'm sure I posted this in Misc, has it been moved to Requests? Or did I just press the wrong button?

The Gresham on O'Connel Street is gorgeous! Right in the cente of town. Just a few minutes walk from the shopping area and Temple Bar. Expensive place though!

we stayed at royal dublin, on O'connel street, then the next time we stayed at the gresham,
royal dublin, ok but basic

Gresham is the big white one..fab, we got a deal on laterooms.com and 4 nights in the luxury deluxe room + flights £325 (thats for us both)

Gresham is one of the more expensive though..

try staying on O'connel street
or check out goartys bar they have accomodation quite cheap

The Camden Court Hotel in Camden Street, Dublin 2, not far from St Stephens Green is great. It is very reasonable, has a lovely restaurant with great set menu deal, lovely health club with sauna which is free to guests. We really enjoyed our stay there.
