Hotels In France Similar To Travel Lodge

Can anyone help please.....

We've made the crazy decision to drive down to Spain this summer (with 4 kids) & we're looking to break the journey up with a couple of overnight stops in France.

Can anyone suggest a "cheap" hotel chain similar to Travelodge in this country??

Many thanks

Try Etap, it's part of the Ibis group. I've used them a few times. Cheap but clean and meets all your needs if you just want somewhere to sleep

Second Etap. We usually split our journey up when driving from the UK to France by stopping half way. We've chosen Etap twice now. Not bad, just make sure you turn up at the right one ;)

Forumla1 is another but that's only if you are extremely desperate ;)

Mister Bed is about as rough as Travelodge. Usually on industrial estates at the outskirts of town.Link here

I have stayed in these several times in various locations- bit more expensive but more spacious and have kitchens with crockery, cutlery etc so extra cost is offset by not having to eat out. Reception is not staffed 24/7 in some so check hotel info (usually have a key safe where keys are left if you arriving late or on a Sunday if not staffed- dont forget to get the code though!)
