I'm looking for a hotpoint aqualtis washing machine (11kg). currently the cheapest is £369 with currys and I was planning to use the £30 O2 moments code but they do not have them in store - to order only so cannot use the code. does anyone have any other codes or possible ideas to get it a bit cheaper please?

Is this the one with touch screen on the door.
I have this one. My advice unless you get extended warrenty don't bother. Mine has broke every 3 months. Constantly I have them out to repair it. If you read the hot point facebook page. It is full of complaints about this machine. The concrete weights break or shatter. There super silent spin. Is not super silent when you need the bolts tightened every 3 months. Or the bearing go. I have had my machine 3 yrs. I have lost count how many times I have had them out. The only original thing to my machine is the casing
I honestly wish I never bought it. The only reason was because of the big load. .
Don't buy, Hotpoint are terrible, It won't last long before it packs up, After 12 months they want £130+ to repair it.
From what I've read (done a lot of reading on UKWhitegoods before buying my new machine), Hotpoint aren't the esteemed UK brand of old. They are rebadged Indesit machines. Can't comment on that particular model, though.

"....actually made by Indesit and sold under the Indesit, Ariston and Hotpoint brand names using what is known as the EVO2 software."

For other users, here's their page about the Aqualtis error codes:

They generally share the same fragile components across the range of products and Indesit brands. In fact wouldn't surprise me if they don't use the same motor on this model as they do with the models with smaller drums.!!!!.

Hotpoint used to be a good brand with a good reputation and they used to last, Some people I know still have Hotpoint machines that were made in the UK and still work ok.
