Apparently these people are good, my cousin had his shop done and im getting my house done next week for £600.
I recommend having a look at the NSI website to find an approved fitter:

The National Security Inspectorate (NSI) is an independent, not-for-profit approvals body providing inspection services for the security and fire industries.
where abouts are you
My other half!!
He's a self employed alarm engineer - install fire/intruder alarms & CCTV!!
Has his own small business in South East.
Thanks for the advice

I am based in reading,
You can always fit your own wireless one. Cheaper and neater than a wired one although alarm fitters will say they are less reliable (although some still give the option of wireless alarms!!).

Depends on how many valuables you have or whether you want a reduced insurance premium. If you are wanting reduced insurance premiums the alarms sometimes have to meet a certain standard.....

I have a Yale wireless one and can't fault it.
