How to cancel documents to Epson printer?

My son has sent something from his computer to our printer and instead of printing out the correct document it is printing out random characters of letters, numbers etc. Trouble is whenever his computer is connected via the home network and the printer is switched n then the printer keeps churning out pages and pages of this rubbish. Does anybody know how to cancel existing documents? I have uninstalled the printer from his computer so I assume the printer must have some print queue memory. Anybody any ideas.
Thanks.

I think you need to open the printer folder, it lists whats in the print que, then you can cancel from there. I think its in the control panel.

Try resetting the printer now..I pulled the info below off internet but you didn't say what epson you have. Or try reset on Google with the model number.. Good luck

Step 1
Locate the control panel of your Epson printer. It is usually on the top right-hand side of your printer, near any digital display screen that the printer may have, and where the button used to turn the computer on and off is also located. Find the button marked "Pause/Reset," "Reset/Continue" or "Reset" on the row of buttons on the control panel. Skip to Step 3 if your model of Epson printer does not have a reset button.

Step 2
Hold the "Reset" or "Pause/Reset" button down for at least three seconds to clear the print job and reset your printer so you can start printing again.

Step 3
Press the "On/Off" or "Power" button to turn your printer off if your model does not have a reset button, and press it to turn your printer on again after a few seconds.

There is nothing in the print queue, that's why I thought it must be in the printer memory. Thanks for the reply.
