We have 3 HP touchpads with wireless chargers which I am going to stick on eBay. They are all running Android lollipop only(if my memory serves me right) with webos now deleted. Before I sell I am wanting to reinstall webos and then install a fast android, possibly ICS. Had a look on forums how to do it but am only finding how to factory reset the touchpad. Anybody link me to a tutorial and recommend a fast ROM. Many thanks.

Personally I wouldn't take it back to webos. The servers that it needs for updates are long gone - and why bother if you're just going to wipe and put android on again? Also wondering why you want to downgrade it 3 versions back to ICS ? Mine runs Kitkat 4.4.4 cyanogenmod

Wanted to downgrade as the version I have at the moment is struggling and so slow. As you type there is sometimes lengthy delays before it appears on screen. Thought dual boot may be more appealing.
Thanks.

That's the way, I've used it loads of times. Just do the full wipe, flash the a4 battery firmware then flash android (evervolv 6 works well and great battery).

So have deleted everything via touchpad toolbox, can somebody link me to a stable rom and appropriate gapps please, the one I have tried the gapps won't work with it.
