Complete newbie to this so need some educating! I see people selling subs to Plex on eBay etc. How does this work? Is it access to all sky channels sports, movies, Ppv etc or is it just what people have uploaded to server or is live sports e.g. 3pm kick offs available? I have a Samsung smart tv and can download The Plex app so can buy the sub of eBay.

Anyone willing to share their knowledge and experience would. E greatly appreciated!

Thanks

check their description on which services are included .
generally how it works is that will give you login details and you enter them in your device and what they offer appears

Plex is just a frontend to your own media library and so I am unsure of what they are selling on Ebay.

Buy yourself a Kodi box and save yourself the subscription cost.

They're selling access to their servers.

They're selling access to their servers.

What he said, they are adding you as a friend to access their servers.

You'll be accessing someone's private video library. If you're looking for sports, the most reliable I've seen are MAG boxes from AliExpress. Other reliable option is to pay someone £10-20 a month for reliabile HD Kodi streams. You can use Kodi for free, but you'll end up clicking on 50 links before one works and may cut out half way through and the quality will not be great.

Thanks for this. Will this give me access to channels to watch sports movies etc and also servers.

Nothing, there's no such thing, Kodi is just media playing software, they don't make any hardware or boxes, they also don't provide or support access to any illegal content.

They're selling access to their servers.

Well that sounds very dodgy.

Plex allows you to add channels and internet video streams to a server as well as media files. People selling Plex subs will have subscription channels added to their plex server and are selling you access to there server to view these streams.

You can get these for free using an android box with Kodi but the quality and reliability of these feeds will generally not be as good as via a paid sub Kodi or Plex sub (not always the case though)

Both ways are not legal though if that bothers you....(doesn't seem to bother most people on HUKD though ..)
