We have found a Mattress we like, but it does not seem to be available online, i think they keep certain product ranges exclusive to Stores only, but surely this is counterproductive and maybe they change the names of these for online sales? You can't try the online ones, so it's kind of difficult to get a deal!

Almost impossible to do price matching on mattresses. Same mattress from same manufacturer is called differently in every store. I have managed to get a price match on Hypnos mattress last year somehow. It was Hypnos Orthocare 8 and was available from a couple of different online stores.

All manufacturers do exclusive mattresses for each store, you can be lucky and find they sell the same to independents but in the main every one is slightly different so comparing is nearly impossible.

I agree with last posters - is a nightmare as you want to ensure you have the right mattress cos we spend an awful lot of time in bed! :D

But...

If you are looking for a fabulous mattress online I highly recomend this one! ;)
I have it & it has impressed mates & family so much that 7 more have purchased too!
I did a ton of research and review hunting before choosing this one.
It is technically a factory second but so far all any of us can find it is just stitching that the machinist has wobbled and the line isn't 100% straight! Who cares right? :D

Total bargain! :3

I believe this common of numerous types of products.
If you are buying something in store, that shop has to cover the cost of staffing, electricity, lighting, displays etc. and all many of other costs so their product prices taking that into account hence being higher. It's unfortunate but that's the way it is, I don't think you'll be able to price match as the models aren't like for like.

Bought Mattressman twice before, very wide stock and decent prices.

It depends on the Brand/make, they do try and call things exclusive when they are not - you have to do your research once you know the bed model. I got a 'myers' bed that was supposedly exclusive and cost £879 in the shop. I Manged to find the 100% exact same bed called with a different model name, for £550.

yes I would think the same to that most have the same mattress just branded different. all major supermarkets have majority of their supplies from the same supplier just branded different. I know the biscuits custard creams etc and fresh eclairs etc are from same supplier just branded for each supermarket. so for companies to use the same mattress and brand it different wont be a shock.
