Wondering how much you retro gaming scholars think should be the going rate on this nostalgic machine.

Loved my Commodore Amiga.

Thanks guys.

Commodore made Amiga? I thought they were two different companies, though it was just before my time.

I threw mine in the skip a few years ago. I don't really think they have a sale value above £10

£100-120 I would say. Depends if you have the boxes and what the cosmetic condition is like. Take a look on Ebay to see what they sold for. The "backups" aren't worth anything apart from helping you to sell it.

I agree completely with the backups, they are just part of the memories to be fair.

Interesting, I was thinking around that same sort of value myself, they seem to be going for that price on ebay.

You've definitely made a mistake, there are load of people out there who is willing to pay well for an Amiga (in good condition). People even spend £200+ for an accelerator card with a whopping 16mb RAM (:D) and 68020 processor.
I bought a good condition A1200 a year ago and paid £110 for it, love my Amiga.

As others have said, really depends on the condition of your Amiga, if the keyboard and casing is still in pristine condition, e.g. not smokey yellow and in good working order, you should get roughly £50-80.

Have a look at this website, which sells all sort of Amiga stuff and get an idea how much you would get.

I've an Amiga 600 but it smells a little like wet fish now due to something arcing oO I'm chucking my A1200 and 68030 accelerator on gumtree for £230 as they seem to be selling well at the moment. I would say you will get around £50 for a good setup but it depends on how much someone wants it.

Give it to charity

I would keep it in the loft :)
it's always good dusting it off every ten years

After 20 years pretty much all of the working games are backups due to age :) I know a lot of mine need recopying.

Anywhere from £50 - £150 depending on condition, whats included & whether it has any upgrades. Check the games also, as some of the Amiga games are worth quite a lot by themselves!!
I sold Zak Mckracken & the Alien Mindbenders last year on ebay for £149.99 :)
If you are up for any trades, i would be interested, as i am an avid amiga collector!

You have a few games, that if complete are around £10 each
Indiana Jones if complete is about £30.
