Here's someone on facebook asking the same question. Yes it's a scam, get onto your card company
https://www.facebook.com/RayBan/posts/10151848191764758

Edit - oops, that one was a similar url but ukstore. However the advice still applies, not going to be legit unfortuntely.

i paid by debit card :( that part i know i stupid at doing, im so gutted never fell for it before :(

There's loads of these sites kicking about unfortunately, often picking up business via facebook ads. At best you'll get cheap Chinese knock-offs, worst case is nothing and a potentially compromised debit card. I'd ring your bank now, say you are concerned and see what they say.

Some of the language on the site is a tip-off that it's a Chinese site:

"If you want to cancel your order, please contact our customer service after you order within 6 hours, before item don't delivery. So sorry that we can't cancel order when ship them out. Thank you for your understand"
#9
You've been scammed, get onto your bank right away and ask to do a chargeback.
#10
just cancel your card, long process but atleast they cant debit the amount still..

Thanks guys. A lesson learnt :( x happy shopping

Hi xxlissixx, did you receive your sunglasses? It looks like the card is handled by icpayment, which is a separate payment processor. If they are mailing the product from China it might take a while for delivery ... it's likely the glasses themselves are counterfeit though.
#14
The other issue that nobody here has mentioned is if you see a price that seems too good to be true, it normally means there is a reason they are selling the item so cheap; either they will be counterfeit or you won't get the item. I mean finding a pair of RB for £40 is rare, which should get the alarm bells ringing. I just posted a pair on here recently and even they were £65 (polarised) but I knew the site was legit.

This is not always the case as websites can get rid of unwanted stock, but the price along with a unusual website name should stop you from buying from the site or at least ask before you do.
#15
You don't have to be a computer whizz kid to find things out about a website. I know it's harsh and there shouldn't be people scamming, but just make sure to use either a credit card or PayPal when buying online, unless it's a very well known company.

I came across a fake clothing website recently and I was very hesitant because of the cheap prices. I contacted the owner and asked if I could collect an item from his shop or whatever as the site was new so that I knew it was genuine. When he/she replied stating this wasn't possible, I knew to not bother.

Phone the number associated to this Julia who has the website registered in her name.
The post code matches up at least, although it doesn't mean that they are at that address.
#17
Just look at the prices.... No offence but you shouldn't use your card online. If possible only buy from places where paypal is accepted!!!!
#18
Hi,
It is definitely a SCAM!
On the privacy notice page it introduces itself: "Thank you for placing an order on http://www.rboutletmall.com/..."
and then on the conditions of use page it says: "Welcome to Raybans-ukshoppe.com..."
The website name is still http://www.rayban-ukshopping.com/

So I'm sorry to say, but this is indeed a fake site.

Yea, totally just fell victim to this as well. I fell really stupid. Ive read that you did receive your sunglasses xxlissixx , just out of curiosity, how long was it until you got them?
#24
I have bought these at the beginning of the month. I just received the glasses. They mixed up my order so I received the ugliest of ugly Oakley sun glasses in the world.
As the website is not working anymore, I can't even get in touch with them.
Very stupid of me. Indeed.

I can't believe you're happy to pay £40 for fake sunglasses that more than likely don't even have sun protection in the lenses oO

I bought two pairs of sunglasses from this site and they arrived within a couple of weeks. Yes they were from China but if they are fake then they are extremely good fakes. They even have the 'RB' on the left hand lens which all legit Ray Bans have now. I have checked them alongside my original Ray Bans and I can't see any difference. I used my card and I have had no issues with anything malicious with my bank account. Maybe I was lucky but I'm very happy at £14 a pair.

#32
Have bought glasses from rayban-uk.cc. I think this may be a scam! Can anyone shed light on this? Fortunately I have paid with my credit card so will contact my credit card provider to ask for a charge-back. I am furious with myself though falling for a seemingly good deal! I should have realised that the deal of £21.48 per sun glasses was too good to be true!
I have never fallen for anything like this before!

Bel85, I received a message on viber from Rayban-uk.cc today. Thought it was a great deal but I thought i will do some research if they are legit. And I checked on the unfamiliar number they used. It's odd that they can use viber to do their advertising, I don't know where they got my number from. I have blocked that number & deleted their message. As I thought they are too good to be true. They are normally scam.
