Be careful. The actual address from their page is

Customer services, TeleTronics, 289 Kennington Lane, Kennington, SE11 5QY
( http://www.teletronics.co.uk/contact-us/ )
Which is the address for bigyellow storage company, that rent offices out.

I wouldn't take the chance, but you may feel the saving is worth the gamble.

any news on your tv m8?
#7
Amos12 did you receive your tv?
#8
Hi guys, sorry for late reply. The tv should arrive tomorrow, but to be honest I'm pretty sure is a scam and I doubt I will receive the tv tomorrow , I was silly to buy without doing any research about them ( or too late) . Anyway, I will come tomorrow or Friday with news regarding the delivery.
#9
Hi guys , just to let you know that I haven't received the tv today, is definetely a scam so avoid this website.
#10
This is a scam. Request payment by BACS and then never send the goods. Then bank won't do a refund on bacs. DONT ORDER! If you have been scammed report it to actionfraud - if you don't these people will never get caught.
#11
Definetely a scam , I hace ordered a tv from them and never received it , I tried to callnthem but obviously they never pick up the phone. I reported them to ActionFraud. If anyone managed to get in touch with them or have any information about them I would really appreciate if you could let me know. Cheers.

hi. I waiting for tv and dont Come. They tell that will be in friday. but I still waiting. one time Alex Cross not brown answer on my question about tv that he need to check where is my item and now is nothing. whot now?
#14
Hi there, I have order the last Sunday a TV, and they send me an email that the TV should arrive in Friday. However, nothing come :(:(:(
I send them a massage about refund, and they answer me “I will pass this matter over to our accounts team.”
I will let you know if I get a refund
By the way, we need to report this fraud site!
It is the only way to report them on Action Fraud, or is another site available?
#15
the only good way to report the fraud is actionfraud. the reports on actionfraud go to the police. there are other fraud reporting websites like weboftrust but they just keep the information themselvse and not pass the report to the police.
make sure you report it to actionfraud. also speak to your bank and ask them if there is any chance for refund. see the website i found (link is above) for lots of information and advice and they also have people saying they did get a refund from their bank!!!
im telling you there is no way that the scam site is refunding you directly. Go to actionfraud and bank.

I see the scammers again and on a different web site...... http://www.londonhifi.co.uk/ i think is the same people.
#17
They are the same people ... same prices on the TV's
I have contact my bank , and they gonna try to make recall the money...
I hope action fraud get some actions to prevent another people going to do that ...
#18
Contact a.s.a.p your bank. They will contact the scammers bank and freeze that accoount. Also report the scam to ActionFraud, you cand do it online or by telephone. There is a chance to get your money back if you paid by credit card . If you paid by bank transfer ( as I did ) there are not too many chances to get your money back, unless at the time when they freeze the scammers account they still have funds in their account , if so , they can refund you the money , but usually scammers withdraw the money as soon the transaction was made. Keep all the evidence saved , all emails, contact numbers , payments and so on !

Thanks for the info and effort to help bobbybump !

OMG i ordered 2 x tvs on black Friday, delivery should have been Tuesday then they emailed me saying it would be delivered today between 3-6pm....paid by debit card well my son did and now he is going ballistic if he cant get his money back, i feel physically sick !!
#21
Hi Amos12, I have already contact the bank and have made a report to Action Fraud. Unfortunately, I have paid by bank transfer (as you did). The point is not about the money, they have gone - the point is this need to be STOP. If the police doesn’t take any action, so who can? This scammers opening a new site with the same details and the same TV offers, so … they can do this forever and will get away with it !!! Any sugestons what also can be done by as will be great?
Thanks

Call the bank. Whilst debit doesn't offer as much protection as credit cards, banks are still nevertheless good with this kind of thing.

If all else fails you raise a chargeback.

We ordered a tv last Sunday and paid by bacs. We have been given 3 different delivery dates and times! We received an email from Alex Cross (I am sure this is a bogus name as it is a title for a film!) he apologised and offered compensation for all the hassle - we know now that we will never get our tv and need to report this guy asap to prevent anyone else being scammed! I have been trying to ring them since Friday - no joy!

Well !! What can I say... I feel so stupid, I have fallen for this scam too. I have ordered a TV and suppose to be delivered tomorrow morning within 9-11. After reading this I have very little hopes that anything is going to be delivered to me. I have contacted my bank and registered the case with Action Fraud too..
#33
Hi I fell for this as well, I paid for the T.V and was told the delivery would be today between 4-6pm!!! Well I am still waiting for the delivery to turn up and everythime I ring the number it just cuts off. I have tried emailing them but again to no avail. I have rung the bank but I need to wait to up to 15days until they can start to do something.
#34
make sure actionfraud know too alex. for everyone here, how did you find the scam company? i found them when looking at tvs on amazon :(
#35
I ordered last week, emailed when delivery option didn't show on ordering, paid by BACS, was supposed to be delivered today. Nothing has arrived. Obviously it was indeed to good to be true.
#36
Call your bank a.s.a.p. The many report for scam , from different people and different bank will be frozen them account (I hope) and this is the only way to get the money back and will prevend more people to be froud :(:(:(
And report them to http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/
#37

#38

Andy0001 -

The bank should try and recover the funds once they are notified.

You could also have grounds to complain if somehow the bank has contributed to the fraud or if they've failed to try and recover the funds properly.

If your bank refuse to offer you a refund, or only offers a partial refund, you have a couple of options:

Make an official complaint with the bank - but be aware that banks have up to 8 weeks to deal with an official complaint.
Inform the bank that you will escalate your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
You should also contact the police, a crime number will usually help your claim.
