Hudl2.. cheaper after christmas?

£0.00 @
I want to buy the hudl2 for myself. Currently with the £20 Tesco code (expires 21 Dec) its £109. Im thinking of waiting for Boxing day or even New year sales and thinking the price will be much cheap…

its £109. Im thinking of waiting for Boxing day or even New year sales and thinking the price will be much cheaper. I know its popular but Tesco need some kind of gimmick to
get people to their stores away from the competition.

Should I wait or will the £109 be the best price?

true..just hoping that busy time is Christmas as they want to give out as gifts.. after that they will sit on shelves.. so maybe prices would come down. If I had the Tesco boost, I would have snapped this deal.. but don't want to pay £109 and then fine within 2 weeks price has really come down.

You might well find it actually goes up after Christmas. At £130 this is a cracking tablet (value for money wise). At £109 it is even better, I guess it depends on how much you want it. If you're not bothered risk it, but I doubt it will go below £109 for quite a while yet.

yeah its simply too soon in its product cycle to drop in price.

it'll be a good tablet at that price so would go for it.

Thanks for the advice ipswitch78 and doncoop. Just wished amazon were selling it so
I could take advance of the £5 for £10 bespoke deal. Most likely will get it before the £20 offer expires.
But something at the back of my mind tells me to wait for boxing day/new year sales.. maybe its wishful thinking
and don't buy at a more expensive price.

Been trying the £20 off code today and it's not working!
Have emailed Tesco to see what the crack is as they're still hyping it!

As others said I can't see it going down anytime soon, but if it did it surely wouldn't go less than £99 which is only a tenner less than what you can pay now with the voucher :)

it should work as it expires on 21 dec, trying to delay my decision and seeing how kindle and
nexus prices have come down drastically over the last few days..

you may be right.. was hoping for more around the £80 mark but that's the cheapskate in me lol.

It should work but its not for me but try it yourself let me know how you bget on :)

It'll be cheap in January sales?
#16
I'd buy now, even if the price drops, contact Tesco as they're customer service is excellent and are known to refund the difference. Watching the gadget show today and they really rated the new Hudl, above the new Fire and Asus!

thanks for the replies. Time is ticking and will have to make a decision this weekend.
Wish I had a crystal ball. I have amazon vouchers and so would have jumped at this price.
But nothing in Clubcard boost.

Just an update on the £20 off code TDX-PKJK.
It appears it's a one use per email address so just open another account using a different email addy and all is good :)

thanks meatandtwoveg.. havent used the code before so should be ok.
They used to have £10 off for new customers but because I have used Tesco groceries for years
so dont think I am getting that.
