Looking for a great price for a Humax PVR9200TB. Missed out on the deal at Dixons and John Lewis £20 off voucher. Humax direct have one for £130, but really want it in black. The £150-160 price tag would be great. Any bargains?

247Electrical have it for £164.98 including delivery.

Just to rub it in, got mine for £140 from Dixons :whistling:
I want one too - not bothered about colour though - couldn't see the £130 one on Humax direct - can you point me in this direction pls?
Am currently trawling through links from Humax website - best deal so far is @ £160 + delivery (unless you live up north and can collect from a store).

After that it is CW Digital for £168 delivered or John Lewis @ £169 if you can use one of the £10 off vouchers (I did find one that worked till 15/1/08).
Sorry couldn't find the page with the £130 from Humax direct in my history and going to the site directly only has the 320Gb PVR9200TBX at £230. Thanks to everyone else for their response, looks like £165 is the going rate from either 247electrical or, which is also a quidco merchant.

Went to my local Currys today and although they had no stock today they looked up Dixons website and said they will price match at £154.99
I can now see why people suggest buying through John Lewis - the humax I bought for my parents developed a fault a few days ago; rang John Lewis today, the replacement will be delivered tomorrow. When it was working the 9200 was excellent by the way.

[edit] Have now revised my opinion of John Lewis based on experience - see below
Its £137 inc del from Humax but they are refurbs still come with 1 yr warranty.
... rang John Lewis today, the replacement will be delivered tomorrow.

A bit of reality has set in - I should have recognised faux call centre authority when I heard it. Apparently it is down on John Lewis' system for next day delivery - all fine and dandy, pity the couriers computer system doesn't have anything booked for delivery at all.

Could have saved myself an early rise to drive over to the parents in time to copy stuff from the hard disk onto video before the courier arrived (ahem!)

So John Lewis's next day delivery became 'delivery by monday at the latest' to 'your order has been cancelled and refunded - we will pick up the old one on Tuesday and can re-order a new one for delivery on Friday'

I'm taking the refund and having nothing more to do with John Lewis; the courier depot is ten minutes away but can I take it to them today? No. Oh, and if I hadn't got them to make a final check they would have tried to pick up the faulty unit from the wrong address - very disappointing.
best price i've seen is £158 from hughes direct +6 delivery, so about the same price as 247 electrical.

Theres a new £20 off at John Lewis code (go to ) - brings it down to £159 delivered with 2 years warranty.
Just bought mine from Humaxdirect for £129 ,
(ok it's grade A but big companies like this provide proper Grade A goods which look new and have 12 months warranty, done this recently with both my Ipod & Sky+ box )

Just checked back now and they are £149
I bought brand new for £159 from John Lewis including 2-year warranty, ordered last night at midnight, already dispatched, thanks lauriekp.
you're welcome :) Mine was delivered today :)
