I want to go and see the opera

Hi, can anybody help me, i am looking at going to see an opera show but dont know which one is the best to see, i love the song Nessun Dorma, but am not going for just that reason, i want to go and get caught up in the emotion, please could someone reccommend a show for me, thanking you in advance:thumbsup:

Can be a little expensive, but I agree, the emotion is fantastic if you are willing to let yourself get caught up in in, however it can be expensive. It may be worth renting or buying a DVD first to see if its your cup of tea.

The problem with a dvd is that you just don't get the raw emotion and atmosphere of a live performance.

Don't know where you are but the English National Opera (London) have both Carmen and Aida in their current season and I know the seats are in the gods but they do have seats from £10. Of course the lower you go in the auditorium the more expensive the seats!
