idea for girlfriends 21st present

As above, its her birthday in Feb and I've booked the week off for her 21st but have no clue what to get her. I don't earn much but saving and doing overtime.

Only thing I can think of is that she wanted a laptop.
She also needs a new phone, but ages ago said she wanted to go to Paris. So unsure if to get her one of them or not. Thanks

Paris all the way-a phone or laptop will eventually be replaced, but memories of a trip to Paris will last a lifetime.

Looks interesting but she usually has appointments as she's currently not working so could only really go Friday - Monday hence Paris idea. Would be good to go too one of them but pointless for the time we would have. Thanks though

Deffo time away - nowadays she can get a phone on contract so no huge outlay and some places do ipads and laptops too - Paris will be special and a forever memory and you can do research on things you know she might like to do or see :) Does depend how she is, some people need to know money was spent as they believe the saving up and sacrifice of the cash is important, others believe the time and thought and effort someone puts into it is more important. Some might be into a fully planned weekend full pamper package with photos, weekend booked with friends and or family in a luxury getaway with spa or pool etc, romantic getaway, suprise party, organising get together with friends or family they would rarely see, taking them to sights or hotels that are a once in a lifetime experience - ice hotel, special event on at time of birthday - it all depends what type of person she is - some like romance, some like parties , some a bit of both :) If finds are tight for her cos she is not working you could take out a phone contract, gym membership, pre purchase hair or beauty appoints, there is so much...Though with Paris or similar you get half the present too as you get timeaway with her :)

Whatever happens though, you are putting in effort and not just making do with Argos at last moment like some guys so I am sure shes will appreciate it and you..

You can't go wrong with jewelery - especially when you get it in a half price sale :)
