He hasn't but a few years back, we done a helicopter tour over London. He has a heart condition so I don't think i'd risk a parachute jump - good suggestion though I was only looking at them 10 minutes ago!

Likes gadgets, how about a Philips hue starter set :)

What about a day in high performance sports cars? He can either drive or be a passenger, whichever suits his health etc.

I thought about that so that it works with Alexa the problem being is they like in a barn and the hall where the Echo will be has about 15 bulbs in total and I don't think it will work very well unless I do them all lol

He's done loads of them over the years, I've never personally bought him one though but he currently has an unused land rover experience day he hasn't even booked up!

And it wouldn't really give the wow factor if you only had a few... I suppose if I got an Amazon dot for another room and the Philips hue went in there that could work, but it's still bloody expensive for some bulbs!

No because they already have a bang and olufsen sound system that cost a fortune, I don't think the Sonos would come close.

It sounds like he's done loads and owns loads. Buy a cow for a family in Africa, or sponsor a student in a 3rd world country.

Sonos are awesome for sound portability and size, the worst part is you really need a paid for streaming service to get the best from them.

The classic personalised birthday newspaper when he was born
#26
What about a telescope so he can stargaze and maybe have a star named after him?
#27
Another idea is to collect photos and maps from places he's been to or are special to him and put them all in a scrapbook/album, if he's anything like my Nan used to be, they love looking back over old memories.

Here's another one, you can get an experience to take him to London, see a show, accommodation, and maybe afternoon tea whilst there?
#29
how about a glider flight, just got my dad one

I'm steering towards the HUE Lighting Set-up but it's going to cost me an absolute fortune, I need to go there at the weekend and count how many bulbs there are.
#33
a snow machine and at least 10 litres of the liquid it uses :)
#34
Get another Amazon echo, so that they have one in the living area and one in the bedroom. :)

Does his B&O sound system have bluetooth? If not get a bluetooth receiver so that Alexa can connect to it. :)

For the last few years the gift I have got my grandad have been a Ryobi one battery set, a sat nav with traffic alerts and last year this turntable with some Bluetooth speakers https://www.amazon.co.uk/ION-Audio-Air-LP-Belt-Drive/dp/B00XCETWIW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1481584482&sr=8-2&keywords=ion+turntable
I think the turntable was the best gift yet.

It doesn't and do they exist? That is a brilliant idea.

I am no expert on bluetooth. You maybe better to ask another question for advice on which device to buy. Found another one. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00LAZ6RTW/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1481664250&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=avantree+saturn+pro+aptx+low+latency&dpPl=1&dpID=51zw-NzTzSL&ref=plSrch:)
