Ideas on where to get cheapish curtains/blinds

We are looking at getting some new curtains or blinds for a large bay window in the bedroom, any ideas where is cheap to get some. I would also prefer fully lined ones, or even some blackout ones?…

Its not about the neighbours, its about the family...as we look after an elderly and ill family member we constantly have family in and out and our bedroom is at the front of the house...see where im going with this? ;-)

Might try TJs then and find a TKMaxx, not sure where one is near me.

Not necessarily a bargain but I was really impressed with the prices. Our windows are quite big and i was going to have to buy 2 standard curtains for my sons room and sew them together. However I had some made at dunelm mill for £80 and this included blackout lining. It would have cost me this to buy the curtains and blackout lining seperately.

Make some.

I had this problem 10 years ago when funds were tight.

I just thought the problem out bit by bit and then made some blinds for my large bay window and curtains for 2 other windows.

It's easier now as you can google 'How to make curtains or blinds for a large bedroom window with blackout lining'.

yeah thats a tad over our budget, but doesnt sound bad for custom made ones.
